Does Labiaplasty Center of Los Angeles Accept Insurance?
Like the vast majority of labiaplasty surgical specialists, Labiaplasty Center of Los Angeles is not “in network” with any traditional insurance providers and does not accept standard health insurance plans.
However, patients may be able to utilize their HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) to help pay for a labiaplasty if the procedure is deemed medically necessary.
Medically necessary labiaplasty is typically performed to address specific health concerns like:
- Physical discomfort caused by excess labial tissue (e.g., chafing)
- Chronic irritation or persistent infections (e.g., UTIs)
- Functional issues affecting daily activities, exercise, or sexual intercourse
To qualify as medically necessary, the procedure must be recommended by a healthcare provider, like a gynecologist, and supported by documentation showing how it addresses health issues that impact your daily life. This documentation will be necessary for using your HSA/FSA funds.
Please note that the entire procedure may not be fully covered by your HSA/FSA. The amount you can apply from your account will depend on the available balance.
