Dr. Courtenay Poucher is a pioneer in women’s vaginal – and overall – health and wellness. An expert in vaginal surgical procedures in Los Angeles and well beyond, Dr. Poucher has contributed significantly to the field, even developing her own version of the modified wedge technique.
Proud wife and mom to seven children, this Michigan native is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Since the inception of the Labiaplasty Center of Los Angeles in 2012, Dr. Poucher has dedicated her practice to specialize in women’s health and aesthetic/functional vaginal surgery and has successfully completed thousands of surgeries.
Known as much for her compassion and genuinely-warm bedside manner as she is for her surgical precision and expertise, Dr. Poucher draws patients to her Los Angeles labiaplasty practice from Australia, Dubai, Texas, Chicago, Miami, New York, Dallas, Beverly Hills and more. She’s recognized worldwide for her ability to repair even the most severe “botched” vaginal surgeries and restore her patient’s function, comfort and confidence.
Says Dr. Poucher: “My goal has always been to make my patients feel seen, supported and whole. After their procedure – when their functionality, comfort and pleasure has been restored – I often hear, ‘I wish I did this sooner!'”
An expert in female cosmetic gynecology, Dr. Poucher is considered a premier provider of aesthetic vaginal surgeries – but notes that most of her patients travel locally, regionally and globally to restore comfort, function and desire. “Our all-women staff has been highly trained to educate each patient about the functional and aesthetic benefits to labiaplasty and other surgical and nonsurgical vaginal procedures,” explains the board-certified physician.
Dr. Poucher studied and graduated from University of California, Davis, and the MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine – today, the Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed her internship at UCLA Medical Center and her residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. Additionally, she served as a partner at Southern California Permanente Medical Group and holds memberships with the Medical Board of California and American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the National Society of Cosmetic Physicians. In 2005, she received the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists award for Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures.
