This treatment is designed to not only allow for maximal reduction in labial size but to also flatten and reduce skin that protrudes past outer labia (majora). Depending on our patients anatomy and desired outcome an additional procedure such as clitoropexy and/or clitoral hood lift can be performed. Clitoral hood reduction can be performed along with majora and minoraplasty, in fact we perform it along with 90% of labia minoraplasty cases. Clitoral hood reduction allows for a more sleek and less top heavy appearance coupled with avoiding a new issue of having the annoying pinching and rubbing just move to the hood area following labiaplasty.

  • Clitoral hood reductions, including the removal of excess skin folds in the region, generally take around 30 minutes. While it’s most often performed in conjunction with labiaplasty, it can be completed as a single procedure.
